I help it be heard
I write books, articles and exhibition texts about the work of contemporary artists — professionally, precisely and in living language.
An artist rarely knows how to write about themselves — and should not have to. Your language is colour, form and material. Yet gallerists, curators, collectors and journalists read texts before they see the work: the biography in a catalogue, the article in a journal, the introduction to an exhibition often decide whether the viewer’s encounter with the painting will happen at all. Self-presentation “in your own words” is almost always either more modest or more strident than the work deserves.
This is where a professional art historian is needed. I place your work in the context of art history, find precise words for your method and build the text so that it does its job: introducing you to a museum, a gallery, a publisher, a buyer. Behind me are an academic degree, years of museum work, monographs and dozens of articles about artists past and present.

- Books and albums about your work — from concept and interviews to a finished manuscript for the publisher: a monograph on your journey in art. A full package is possible: from the idea to a printed edition delivered to your door.
- Professional articles — for art journals, catalogues and art portals; texts that can be cited.
- Booklets and exhibition texts — curatorial introductions, press releases, section texts, captions for works.
- Descriptions of paintings — art-historical descriptions of individual works for galleries, auctions, collectors and personal archives.

- Getting acquainted: you show your work, and we discuss the task — a book, article, booklet, description or exhibition package.
- Immersion: interviews with you, study of your works, archive and publications.
- The text: I write, we agree on revisions — you take part at every stage.
- The result: a finished manuscript or text.
- Publication: a printed edition of the book, an article in a print publication, a piece in the online media.
